Journal of Clinical and Diagnostic Medicine Africa (JCDM Africa) publishes original research, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, clinical trials, case reports, case series, short communications, technical reports, clinical images, perspectives, editorials, and letters to the editor covering all areas of clinical and diagnostic medicine. Journal of Clinical and Diagnostic Medicine Africa is a fully Open Access journal. All published articles are freely and permanently available online immediately upon publication without subscription or registration barriers. Readers may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to the full text of articles provided appropriate attribution is given to the original authors and source, consistent with internationally recognized open access principles. Open-access publishing is widely recognized as improving dissemination and accessibility of research.

Peer Review Policy

All manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment followed by a rigorous double-blind peer-review process conducted by at least two independent experts. Editorial decisions are based on scientific quality, originality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal's scope.

The journal is committed to maintaining fairness, confidentiality, transparency, and integrity throughout the editorial and peer-review process.

Publication Ethics

The journal adheres to internationally accepted principles of publication ethics and scientific integrity. Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to maintain the highest ethical standards in research, authorship, peer review, and publication.

Publication charges, where applicable, support editorial management, peer review administration, production, digital preservation, and long-term accessibility of published content.

Archiving Policy

The journal is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of scholarly publications.

Where available, published content may be preserved through recognized digital preservation services such as LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS) or equivalent institutional and publisher-supported archival systems.
